Pianist and conductor Ron Greidanus was raised on a cow farm outside of Londesborough Ontario. At an early age it was clear too both mom and dad that this was not your everyday baseball playing kid, who took more quickly to pressing black and white keys as opposed to milking black and white cows. After reading about the success of local piano teacher Gail Lear for obtaining the highest marks for her Associate Diploma, Theresa thought this dynamic young winner would be the best place to send her up and coming prodigy. So lessons began, bus trips to London began, master classes, university, competitions etc.

The budding young artists' educational background has taken him around the globe both nationally and internationally including studies in Ottawa, London, Victoria, and Thunder Bay in Canada; as well Amsterdam in the Netherlands, New York USA, and Santander Spain. On top of studying in all of these countries, Ron has performed as a recitalist, chamber musician and soloist with orchestra in over 30 countries. The Russian composer S. Rachmaninoff, for whom Ron has a tremendous affinity; it is with this composer that Ron has taken the world by storm having performed Rachmaninoff's Concerti with the Vancouver Philharmonic, The Rochester Philharmonic, the Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber Orchestra and the Brampton Symphony. Recitals have taken this virtuoso to London England, Orlando Florida and Vienna Austria.

In addition to performing the great piano concerti of the Post - Romantic Era, Maestro Ron Greidanus is also making a name as a conductor leading the Georgetown Bach Chorale in period performances of highly spirited Baroque music and conducting large orchestras such as the Brampton Symphony Orchestra.
