Mass
in b minor - Bach
It
has been an honour for the GBC to be the first choir to perform in
some of the venerable churches in Halton Hills.
The
Chorale will continue this distinguished tradition with the
inaugural performance in the new Holy Cross Roman Catholic
Church.
J.S.
Bach’s Mass in b minor, known for its impressive choruses and
complex orchestrations, will be conducted
by Ron Greidanus from the harpsichord. In keeping with an
historically accurate presentation, musicians will perform this
masterpiece on period instruments. Guests will recognize the
baroque-style precision and uncompromising attention to detail
they have come to respect and admire in the Chorale.
